We wanted to remind your that there's a chance for you and your students to see the Hampshire Guitar Orchestra (hago) in their 100th concert on Saturday June 23rd.
Students under 18 are only £1 if accompanied (pardon the musical pun) by an adult - see the invite in this email.
More about the concert
It's a significant milestone for, of course, and on the way, we've raised £56,000 for local good causes. We hope for a large audience so that we can help support Havant Women's Aid via this concert. Come if you can!
Our special guests are Cambridge Guitar Orchestra, with whom we've had the pleasure of sharing a concert every year since 2002. There's become a tradition of making a silly presentation every year, and if the Royal Mail doesn't screw up, we'll be doing the same again this year!
You'll see from the photos that the Church has a balcony offering fantastic views, and the acoustic is just right for classical guitar.
The programme for the whole evening is an eclectic mix of music from Bartok to The Beatles - something for everyone.
Visit our special 100th concert page on our website for photos, a video, maps, directions and ticket information. Click the buttons on that page to share or tweet the page to help us spread the word :-)
On behalf of the whole of hago, I do hope you will be able to come and share in this very special concert by Hampshire Guitar Orchestra and CGO. Yours in music
Derek Hasted - Musical Director
