Louise was born in Paris in 1978 and began playing the guitar at the age of eight. She soon began performing and won many regional competitions before studying privately with the eminent guitarist Carlos Bonell at the age of twelve.
In 1996 she gained place at the Royal College of Music in London where she studied the guitar with Gary Ryan. Whilst studying at the RCM, she had opportunities to play for artists such as Julian Byzantine, Fabio Zanon and John Williams and performed at many venues, including the Venezuelan Embassy, The Royal Academy, The National Gallery and St. Martin in the Fields. She played extensively with other musicians and won the Wilfred Brown duo prize, and also formed part of the RCM Gamelan Ensemble that performed at the Bath Festival.
Louise graduated in the year 2000 with a Bachelor of Music (Hons) degree. She has since travelled and performed in Australia and now teaches and performs in London . She will be taking up the position of guitar teacher at the Bermuda School of Music from September
