The club is now able to offer some of its pages as RSS feeds. RSS is an acronym for Really Simple Syndication, a technology that has evolved over the last ten years.
RSS is an easy to use system that allows you to subscribe to the headlines on your favourite websites. It means you can see the new content from all of your favourite websites in one place, usually without having to visit those sites.
All you need is a program known as a feed reader or aggregator. It will check a list of RSS feeds on your behalf and display any updated articles that it finds.
Most modern internet browsers (we recommend the free Firefox browser), have a feed reader built in. If you subscribe using a browser, you will end up with a new "bookmark", which is made up of all the pages listed in the feed. Your browser will periodically check for updates to the feed and present these as new bookmarks.
